Wuthering Waves 3.8 lands November 12 and gives a first look at version 4.0

Wuthering Waves players now have a date for the next chapter: version 3.8, “Lilies in a Dying Dream”, goes live on November 12 (UTC+8) on every platform, Kuro Games said on X after its preview broadcast.
The bigger tease comes at the end of the story. The update closes Act V of Chapter IV, “A Bouquet for Tomorrow”, and also introduces the world and setting of version 4.0, the first glimpse of where the open-world RPG goes next. Kuro has not shared anything else about 4.0 yet.
Around the story there are new events, a Tactical Hologram challenge called Calamity Effigy and Lune Noire, a deluxe outfit for Hiyuki. Quality-of-life changes include a Material Locator that teleports players to the challenges dropping the materials they need, and a Blitz Mode that restarts a challenge without reloading. On PS5 Pro, PSSR can push the image up to 4K, while other supported consoles get a Performance or Quality choice, with PS5 and Xbox Series S left out for now.
The Reverb convenes let players pick a 5-star Resonator or weapon as the featured target and change it at any time. For a gacha game that is a notable concession: the featured slot now holds the character a player actually wants.
On PC, launcher options for downloading full or basic game resources arrive as a limited test, RPG Site notes.
