Warhammer Survivors leads five Game Pass launches on Xbox from November 9 to 13

The most interesting Xbox releases between November 9 and 13 land straight in Game Pass, and the headliner is a crossover few would have bet on: Warhammer’s grim armies squeezed into the pixel-art format that Vampire Survivors made famous.
Warhammer Survivors comes from Auroch Digital, the studio behind Warhammer 40,000: Boltgun, made together with poncle, the Vampire Survivors team. According to its Steam page, more than 40 characters from Warhammer 40,000 and Age of Sigmar are playable, each mowing through endless hordes.

Microsoft’s Next Week on Xbox list puts these five on Game Pass:
- Football Manager 27, plus a separate console edition (November 10)
- TANUKI: Pon’s Summer, a BMX delivery game on a fictional Japanese island (November 10)
- Warhammer Survivors (November 10)
- Hope in the City, a mystery about a 17-year-old in Shenyang whose sketches are the only clues to her parents’ disappearance (November 11)
- 9 Kings, a kingdom-building roguelite in Game Preview (November 12)
Outside the subscription, the nostalgia pick is Shrek 2 Remastered from Aspyr on November 10. The co-op brawler for up to four players has been rebuilt with sharper textures, a new interface and 4K cutscenes. Cozy restoration game Hozy reaches Xbox on November 9, and Jackbox adds Fakin’ It XL on November 12.

The full list runs to dozens of smaller titles, from Autobahn Police Simulator 4 to a game about running a public toilet. Microsoft notes that dates can still move, so it is worth checking each store page before planning a weekend around one.
