Hozy brings its no-pressure home makeovers to PS5 on November 9

A game about mopping floors sounds like a punchline, yet Hozy has built a following on PC by making chores feel good, and it arrives on PlayStation 5 on November 9.
The PS5 version leans on the controller. In a PlayStation Blog post, developer Come On Studio says each tool has its own haptic pattern, from a mop sliding over parquet to furniture being shuffled into place, while the adaptive triggers stiffen as you pry up old floorboards with a crowbar. The DualSense speaker adds the sound of whatever tool is in your hand.

The setup is gentle. After city life goes wrong, you come back to the small town of Littleville and start fixing up its homes one room at a time: clear the mess, renovate, then furnish from a curated set of pieces rather than an endless catalogue. There are no timers or scores. Windows can be opened to let dust drift in the breeze, lamps switched on, a piano played, and drawers searched for hidden notes.
The main story runs across nine levels. After that, a Game+ mode reopens finished houses with day and night lighting and different furniture, and a Sandbox mode unlocks every item for free-form design. The game supports 11 languages and can be streamed to PlayStation Portal.
On PC, Hozy has been out on Steam since March 30, published by tinyBuild. The studio says seasonal events and both free and paid DLC are planned, though it has not said when the first will land.
