About Virylo
Virylo is an independent news site about technology, video games, movies and series, and cars. Our name comes from the Ukrainian word вітрило, a sail: we follow the wind of the news and bring you what matters, fast and without noise.
What we cover
- Tech: gadgets, AI, software, chips, the companies that build them.
- Games: releases, trailers, updates, studios and platforms.
- Movies and series: premieres, trailers, streaming, box office.
- Auto: new models, EVs, technology and the car industry.
We do not cover politics, sport, crypto or personal finance.
How we work
Every story combines several sources, primary ones first (official announcements, press releases, company blogs, filings), and adds context: what changed, why it matters, what came before. We use AI tools to monitor sources, draft, translate and publish most news automatically, after automated checks. The editors set the rules and the source list, review published stories and correct mistakes. Read more in our Editorial policy and AI policy.
Who we are
Virylo is edited by Vladyslav Hulin and Anastasiia Hulina. Vladyslav is a senior product designer and product manager, a gamer and a hands-on car and hardware tinkerer. Anastasiia co-creates indie and educational 3D games in Unity and loves cinema, animation and story-driven games. See their author pages for full bios.

Languages
We publish in English and Ukrainian, with more languages coming. A translation says exactly what the English story says, with the same facts and quotes; we double-check names, numbers and dates in every language.
