GTA 6 Launch Gallery puts 39 new shots of Vice City online, two weeks before release

Anyone counting down to Grand Theft Auto VI now has 39 new screenshots to pore over. Rockstar Games has opened a Launch Gallery on the game’s official site, two weeks before it arrives on PS5 and Xbox Series X|S on November 19.
The shots are grouped by place and by person. There is Vice City by day and by night, the Leonida Keys, the Grassrivers wetlands and a run of portraits of the two leads, Jason Duval and Lucia Caminos. One frame catches the pair mid-robbery behind a shop counter; another drops underwater, where a diver glides over a reef past a lionfish.

The stills linger on crowds and light: a packed nightclub under green lasers, yachts caught in police searchlights, a neon-lit balcony. For a series that sells its cities as much as its heists, that is a deliberate choice.

The full set of 39 shots is in the official Launch Gallery on Rockstar’s site.
The campaign has also left the screen. As IGN reports, Rockstar has dressed parts of Miami in Vice City branding, and on November 18 it will stage “A Night in Vice City”, an NBA game in which the Miami Heat face the Milwaukee Bucks as the Vice City Heat, in themed jerseys and on a new court. It is the last stretch of a wait that IGN puts at 13 years.

Pre-loading opens on November 10, according to IGN, and the download needs 212 GB of free space, so console owners may want to clear a drive first. Rockstar has so far announced the game only for consoles; a PC version has no date.
