MGM+’s From tops the US streaming chart after its first three seasons land on Netflix

A horror series made for one of the smaller US streamers is now the most-watched show in America. Nielsen’s streaming chart for October 19-25 puts From in first place, after Netflix added its first three seasons.
The show originally premiered on Epix in 2022, before that channel became MGM+, and it is still an MGM+ series: the fourth season, which has just finished, stays on MGM+, Collider notes. Viewers who binge the Netflix seasons have to switch services to catch up, which is exactly the point of the deal.
| Rank | Title | Minutes viewed | Service |
|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | From | 1,649 million | Netflix |
| 2 | The Diplomat | 1,194 million | Netflix |
| 3 | The Big Bang Theory | 867 million | HBO Max |
| 4 | Grey’s Anatomy | 845 million | Hulu, Netflix |
| 5 | The Terminal List | 830 million | Prime Video |
The gap is wide: From beat Netflix’s own political drama The Diplomat by more than 450 million minutes, while the second season of Prime Video’s The Terminal List finished with roughly half of From’s total. Older comfort shows like The Big Bang Theory, with hundreds of episodes on offer, could not keep up with a series of just 30 episodes.
The timing suits MGM+: the series has been renewed for a fifth and final season, and the Netflix run gives it a much bigger audience to bring along.
