OLED iPad mini, M6 iMac and the first touchscreen MacBook Pro reach buyers today

The first Mac you can poke is no longer a pre-order. The MacBook Pro with a PROLED XDR touchscreen, the OLED iPad mini and the iMac with M6 start reaching customers, Apple Stores and authorised resellers today, along with a refreshed 14-inch MacBook Pro with M6.
Each one is a notable step. The touchscreen MacBook Pro also trades the notch for a Dynamic Island. The iPad mini moves to an 8.5-inch OLED panel, the A20 Pro chip and IP67 water and dust resistance in a 5.4 mm body. The iMac keeps its 24-inch 4.5K screen and seven colours, and Apple claims graphics up to 2x faster than the M4 model.
| Model | US starting price |
|---|---|
| iPad mini, Wi-Fi | $699 |
| iPad mini, Wi-Fi + Cellular | $849 |
| iMac with M6 | $1,499 |
| 14-inch MacBook Pro with M6 | $1,999 |
| 14-inch MacBook Pro with PROLED XDR, M5 Pro | $2,899 |
| 16-inch MacBook Pro with PROLED XDR, M5 Pro | $3,399 |
The M5 Max versions of the touchscreen laptops climb to $4,499 for the 14-inch and $4,799 for the 16-inch. The top 16-inch model now costs nearly seven times as much as the entry iPad mini.

Anyone hoping to walk out with a touchscreen MacBook Pro may have better luck in a store: MacRumors notes that many configurations in Apple’s online store already show 2-3 weeks of shipping time.
