Eufy’s $79.99 Window Camera E10 watches your yard through the glass, no drilling needed

Renters, and anyone who would rather not drill into brick, now have a simpler way to keep an eye on the driveway. Anker’s eufy brand has started selling the Window Camera E10 in the US for $79.99: an indoor camera that sticks to the glass and looks out.
The trick is in the mount. The lens sits flush against the window inside a wraparound shroud, so lamps and room light don’t bounce back into the picture, and eufy also packs anti-reflection stickers in the box. A built-in 25° downward tilt aims the 2.5K image at the porch and the path instead of the sky.
The camera records around the clock over 2.4 GHz or 5 GHz Wi-Fi to a microSD card of up to 256 GB, bought separately, and tells people, pets and vehicles apart without a monthly fee. Power comes through a USB-C cable and there is no battery version, so the window needs an outlet nearby. Eufy first showed the camera at IFA in the summer. $79.99 and no subscription is a low entry price for a first outdoor camera.
There are limits: frosted or patterned glass won’t work, extra-thick double or triple glazing can add slight glare at the edges at night, and high floors looking down leave blind spots. Apple HomeKit isn’t supported for now.
