Razer’s $79.99 Hammerhead V3 Chroma bring ANC to wired USB-C earbuds for mobile gamers

Razer is betting that mobile gamers still want a cable. The Hammerhead V3 Chroma are wired USB-C earbuds with active noise cancellation, sold for $79.99 through Razer’s own store and Amazon, according to 9to5Google.
The clever bit is the plug. A low-profile 90° USB-C connector lies flat against a phone, tablet or handheld turned sideways, so it doesn’t dig into your palm mid-match. Inside each bud, an 11 mm dynamic driver handles bass and a 6 mm tweeter takes the highs, and the IPX4 rating covers sweat and rain.

An in-line remote changes volume, controls playback and toggles ANC, and plugging into a PC unlocks THX Surround Sound 7.1 through Razer Synapse. This being Razer, both buds also light up in Chroma RGB, the one feature nobody wearing them will ever see.
